Birds on a Wire
Oh so Portland! Remember the “put a bird on it” days? I love seeing birds perching at all angles on electrical wires and watching the storm of Vaux swift’s in the fall.
In this project we will create a watercolor wash for the sky and as that dries, cut out watercolor paper bird silhouettes from handmade stencils then paint and embellish the individual birds. You will design your layout of raised ribbon as the wire and perch each bird how you wish for a completely unique bird infused skyline.
Finished pieces will be ready for framing at home.
